Heidi Koers (1976) lives in Haarlem NL. In 2010 she started P.M.K.D | Project Met Klein Draad | Project With Small Wire
Embroidery has always been a great passion of hers. She has used her love for textiles and design for years as a Visual Merchandiser for interior & fashion. As a result, P.M.K.D got a creative follow-up in 2010 in the form of ART. Playing with lines, adding depth and shadow feels to her such as drawing with a needle and thread. The Hanging threads give the artwork its shape, the black line its frame. The challenge of P.M.K.D lies in playing with composition, combining different materials and colors without a preconceived plan but with fashion as the starting point.
